After a career as a graphic designer working mainly in the advertising world, Maggie moved to the country and married a farmer in the Cotswolds. This started her love of painting the black and white cows on bright green fields she saw all around her on the farm. Before long a gallery became interested in promoting her work and organised exhibitions for her both locally and in London. She became one of the regular RONA gallery artists and with them had numerous exhibitions including a 'one woman' show at St Katherine's Docks and also the Barbican.
She began to produce work depicting peoples' homes with their pets as well as the beautiful country landscape, selling mostly in this country and abroad.
Now living in Devon, and having had a relatively long break from painting running her own design shop, she enjoys life by the sea and paints the things that inspire her love of colour, light and form.
